A woman with a heart wouldn’t do that. A healthy person can suddenly collapse like that one day.
Her hands were shaking as she tried to lift him, then he suddenly opened his eyes.
When their eyes met, he started trying to move.
"Uncle... inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun"
He was struggling to speak, it was a sign he wanted to talk. His body was shaking badly, and her shaking hands grabbed him and said, "Uncle why did this happen to you?"
He managed to say "TA..J..TAJ...." struggling badly. The way he was, he couldn’t talk. His body was shaking, his mouth was open and he was foaming. She looked into his eyes, his eyes were shedding tears. She called his name again and again until she understood, then she came closer and he fell. Then she got impatient, wanting him to say what he wanted to say.
"Taj? Uncle what will happen to Taj? Tell me" she said, trying to speak.
Right then they heard Hidaya’s voice from the sitting room coming in.
Sabeeha was already in tears. Jamid himself was so anxious he couldn’t do anything, he couldn’t move and he couldn’t even speak to tell her to leave.
Sabeeha confirmed that it was Hidaya’s voice. Her heart skipped a beat. She quickly got up from where she was sitting by the bedroom door.
Before Hidaya got there and caused another problem, she didn’t get a chance to ask Jamid about the file the way she planned.
Tears filled her eyes as she went to the curtains in panic. She quickly hid Jamid’s hand and went to hide behind the curtains.
As she was hiding, Jamid let out a heavy sigh of relief even though he was in pain.
His heart wasn’t calm because Hidaya could come into his section at any time.
Right then Hidaya entered the room. As she walked through the middle of the room she glanced at Jamid’s side.
She quickly closed her eyes, and when she looked around the room she thought she saw the nurse who was taking care of him.
Then drops of sweat fell from the bathroom and she shouted, "You!!! Step out this instant"
Sabeeha was already in tears, her heart was pounding and she was scared.
She came out from where she was hiding, tears streaming down, and quickly denied hearing what Hidaya said.
"Is there someone who came into the room?"
"No madam" the nurse answered from the bathroom.
"How did the entrance door get left open? Can’t you do your job the way it should be done?"
"I’m sorry ma’am, I forgot to close it"
"Are you insane? This will be my first and last warning. If I’m not home and I find the door to this section open again, and I find out someone entered this section again, until I come back, do you understand?!!!" Hidaya scolded her.
The nurse answered "yes ma’am" before quickly rushing out of the room.
Sabeeha was still standing frozen. All she could think about was how she was hiding in those curtains, and when she heard the conversation with the nurse she let out a sigh of relief.
The nurse came out to where Jamid was lying. As usual she closed his eyes. She massaged his head.
She couldn’t sleep, she would talk and he wouldn’t close his eyes, unless she gave him his usual medication that would make him sleep.
She was thinking in her heart that she wouldn’t threaten him again to tell her where the file was. She knew he was stubborn.
