*Farouk and Salma*
Farouk speaks softly to Salma, telling her he loves her and wants to take care of her. He reassures her and they become physically close and affectionate. Afterward, he tells her he wants to spend more time with her and suggests going to a hotel to talk privately.
*Muneera and Kareema*
The scene switches to the hostel. Muneera comes into the room where Kareema is already in bed wrapped in a towel. Muneera tells her “In sha Allah we’ll be fine tomorrow, don’t worry.”
Kareema is upset that Muneera went out without her. Muneera explains she had guests and that’s why she couldn’t. Their talk is cut short when a phone starts ringing.

Alhaji Mukhtar answers the phone call and ends it with a greeting/goodbye.
